1. Hi Alison, tell us about Readers Retreat?
Readers Retreat is a bookshop where people and words come together. I sell new books, stationery, art works and gifts. I also have a writers room where I offer book clubs and writing workshops.
2. What do you love about being part of the business community in Port Stephens?
I love the networking opportunities. I find so many important connections arise through serendipity so I like to take advantage of an opportunity to meet new people.
3. Do you have any special offers for BPS members or are there any School Holiday or regular activities you would like to promote to members?
My writers room is a quiet beautiful space that seats up to 8 people. It is available for hire for $6 per person. Just email to make a booking.
4. Why did you choose to be a member of BPS?
Only recently having returned to Port Stephens after living away, in addition to creating business connections, I also thought it was a way to make new friends.
