I am a Workplace Health and Safety consultant with more than 20 years’ experience across the mining, manufacturing, automotive, construction and trade sectors. Through Key Consultation Solutions, I support small and medium businesses with practical, people-focused WHS services, including compliance support, consultation, training, mentoring, incident investigation, injury management and safety leadership development. Key Consultation Solutions provides flexible, cost-effective support tailored to the needs of each business. I believe safety should be about people, not just paperwork. My approach helps teams feel confident, engaged and empowered to work safely every day. I focus on genuine two-way consultation, coaching, mentoring and training, ensuring teams are aware, involved and supported to find practical, workable safety solutions.

I was recently privileged to speak on the National Safety Conversation panel at the Workplace Health & Safety Show at ICC Sydney, contributing to an important national discussion on workplace health, safety and wellbeing. I am also proud to serve as a Director of the Touched By Christopher Foundation, supporting families affected by workplace tragedy and helping share Christopher’s story to prevent future loss.
What do you LOVE about being a part of the business community in Port Stephens?
I joined Business Port Stephens because I value being part of a connected, supportive local business network. As a business owner, it is important to have opportunities to meet other local businesses, learn from their experiences, share what I do and contribute to a community that genuinely supports local enterprise. BPS also provides a wonderful platform to connect with businesses that may benefit from practical WHS and people-support services, while allowing me to give back by sharing knowledge, supporting local events and championing safe, healthy and productive workplaces.

My biggest shout-out goes to the Port Stephens business community as a whole. The support, encouragement and belief the community gave me when I was just starting out in business is what kick-started Key Consultation Solutions and helped it continue to grow.
That early belief from local businesses, networks and fellow business owners meant so much. It reminded me that I was not building my business alone and gave me the confidence to keep moving forward. I am incredibly grateful for that support, and I love being able to give back to a community that has given me so much.
