Shoal Bay Country Club is Port Stephens’ leading hospitality and tourism destination, located on the waterfront at beautiful Shoal Bay. Open seven days a week, the venue brings together restaurants, bars, live entertainment, events, functions and accommodation in one precinct.
Over the years, SBCC has continued to evolve through significant investment in our venues, people and guest experience, while remaining focused on creating a destination that both locals and visitors can enjoy. From a morning coffee overlooking the bay through to waterfront dining, live music and late-night entertainment, SBCC offers something for every occasion.
We are incredibly proud to be part of the Port Stephens community and to play a role in attracting visitors to the region, creating local employment and supporting the continued growth of the area.

It’s an exciting time at Shoal Bay Country Club, with the recent opening of East Pavilion, our new 220-seat waterfront contemporary Asian restaurant overlooking Shoal Bay. East Pavilion brings an entirely new dining experience to Port Stephens, complementing our existing culinary offerings at the pub and Atmos.
What do you LOVE about being a part of the business community in Port Stephens?
There is a genuine sense of community in Port Stephens. Local businesses understand that when the region succeeds, we all benefit. We love being part of a community that supports one another, champions local tourism and is incredibly proud of what Port Stephens has to offer.
We also feel very fortunate to operate in one of the most beautiful parts of Australia. Being able to showcase Shoal Bay and Port Stephens to hundreds of thousands of visitors each year is something we’re incredibly proud of.

We believe strongly in supporting the broader Port Stephens business community and having a collective voice for the region. Business Port Stephens provides an important platform for local businesses to connect, collaborate and advocate for initiatives that strengthen the local economy and visitor experience.
