Tell us a bit about yourselves and The Poyer’s
The Poyer’s opened in 2015, it is a family owned and operated over the water restaurant that focuses on fresh food and creating a social and relaxed dining experience for locals and visitors.
What are your most favourite dishes to create?
Inspiration comes from what is seasonally sourced, it could simply come from a freshly picked baby carrot, potato or from a sea urchin.
What do you love about being part of the community in Lemon Tree Passage?
Lemon tree Passage is a very special place. We feel like our locals are a part of our team, whether it is from a simple recommendation to a visitor on their daily walk, to their daily drop off of their produce, or a simple chat to say hello.
Why did you choose to be a member of BPS?
To be a part of a local network of businesses.
What do you like to do on your days off?
Most of the time we work but in between we like to eat, drink, socialise with friends and rest.
Shout out to your favourite Port Stephens businesses: cafes, shops, services, activities etc.
Thank you to all of our local suppliers of eggs, seafood, meat and vegetables, it is a pleasure to work with you and your produce.
