Become acquainted with some friendly creatures of the deep at Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters!
Located in Anna Bay, the aquarium pledges to raise awareness and make a positive difference to aquatic life. There you will embark on a tour of the aquarium where you will deep dive into life under the sea, learning more about their conservation efforts and about the incredible, friendly and intelligent creatures living there. You’ll have the opportunity to pet and feed the animals from the edges of the lagoons, including graceful sting rays and tawny nurse sharks, sometimes referred to as the ‘koalas of the ocean.’ You can choose to encounter these animals from the edges of the pools, staying dry, or get your feet wet in the shallows encounter wearing your own clothes. There’s also the option to don a wetsuit and get closer to the animals while the cuddle up to your lap, or even snorkel with them in the deeper water!
Bookings are essential on weekends and during holiday periods.
